A mixture of old school mates, past work colleagues and the one obscure acquaintance, Acme Developments are a team who take pride in providing the highest quality of customer service and all hold the same core belief: Work Hard, Play Hard.
Josh Nellis graduated with an Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Property Management and Investment in June 2012. Josh formed Acme Developments in July 2012, to address a number of issues he had recognised whilst at University and during spells of employment in construction and surveying.
Having witnessed firsthand, the ever present need for student storage solutions during University holiday periods, as well as the growing demand for private storage facilities across the UK, Josh recognised a market for short-term storage solutions which would have the added benefit of providing business rate relief for landlords with vacant properties.
Having also worked regularly for a building contractor since the age of 16, Josh, and some of his colleagues, recognised the considerable value held in the vast quantities of materials/goods which are discarded on construction sites. Whether it be goods worth salvaging or even unused materials from building works, excessive waste is seen on a frequent basis. Doors, glazed partitioning, quality fittings and electrical equipment are often discarded along with usable materials such as half pallets of bricks/blocks, excess timber lengths, boxes of tiles etc, all because there is a lack of storage facilities and a cost of transportation.
Acme Developments aims to reduce this waste, whilst providing a range of tailored storage facilities for clients with varying requirements and differing timescales.
